“Welcome to the Market”
The Lloyd’s Marine and Energy Under 35s Committee are delighted to announce our upcoming event, ‘Welcome to the Market’, which will be hosted in the Lloyd’s Library on Monday 26th February 2024.
This full day event has been specifically curated for our newest market participants who have joined the Lloyd’s of London Energy & Marine market over the past few years.

Time: 9:00am – 17:30pm
‘Welcome to the Market’ will feature 7 insightful talks by industry leaders across a diverse range of business classes within the Marine & Energy division. Our speakers, experts in their respective fields, will be providing an overview of their business areas and exploring topical themes that are impacting their marketplace in 2024.
The final agenda will be published for attendees prior to the event with talks confirmed across the following business areas:
1 – Energy Insurance
2 – Liability, P&I and Ports
3 – Risk and Claims Adjusting
4 – Hull and War Insurance
5 – Insurance Law
6 – Fine Art, Jewellery and Specie Insurance
7 – Cargo Insurance
This is a unique opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge, explore the classes of business conducted in our sector and network with your fellow industry professionals.
The agenda will run with talks scheduled from 9:00am to 13:00pm and lunch refreshments will be provided for attendees with talks resuming at 14:30pm.
Attendees will be required to attend the full day event. Please respect the time and effort our speakers have committed to host this event and please DO NOT sign up if you are unable to attend the full day.
Due to maximum capacity requirements for the Lloyd’s Library, we will be limiting the number of attendees we can accommodate for this event. Registration for this event will open on 29th January at 9.30 am and we anticipate spaces will be filled quickly, therefore if you are interested in attending, please make a calendar reminder to be ready to sign up when the link is published via email.
