About the Event

The webinar will provide an insight into the fundamentals of fire on ships, how it spreads, and the methods adopted in response, depending on the nature and size of a blaze. It will look at the preventative measures to take to mitigate the risk of ship fires, the issues with Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT), IMDG Code requirements and vessel fire emergency response.  It will also examine the critical mechanisms needed to protect the environment, protect the asset, preserve and collect evidence during the investigation to establish the cause and to properly evaluate the costs.
